Great news! The latest travel news is that Easter holiday
prices on a whole have dropped as much as 25%. Many places, such as an online
centre for discount holidays and holiday comparison website, are offering
amazingly low deals and unbeatable prices. So, with this in mind, why would you
not spend some quality family time abroad? This way you can make sure that you
will never hear the classic “Mum, Dad, I’m bored!” which is (and we are sure
you would agree) both frustrating and annoying.
Before hitting a holiday comparison website, why not have a
read of our article, which picks out the best places to go in Europe. This
article is especially for those who are craving a bit of sunshine and want to escape
gloomy and wet UK weather.
Why are we sticking to Europe? Well, let’s face it; going
away with children can quickly turn into a nightmare if they have to sit on a
plane for hours on end, during a long haul flight, as they will soon get bored
and therefore become mischievous. Prevent this by sticking to holidays in Europe,
meaning shorter flights and therefore cutting out the chance of their boredom
getting the better of them.
Canary Islands
Any of the Canary Islands are ideal for family holidays, as
you are guaranteed reliable sunshine all year round, yes there may be a slight
chance of rain, but this is very, very rare. We would highly recommend Lanzarote
as there is so much to do and see here. If you want a fun packed and
exhilarating day why not check out one of their many water parks. If you fancy
a lazy day, why not visit one of the glorious beaches, which are famous for their
interesting appearance due to the black, volcanic rock on the island. However,
if local character is more up your street, then try smaller islands including;
La Gomera or El Hierro.
Cyprus
Whilst Cyprus is known to have one of the mildest climates,
in March and April temperatures do start to rise and with this their beautiful,
stunning wild flowers bloom, which is such an incredible sight. Paphos is the
most common resort among holidaymakers, so if you want to avoid all the
tourists, head to the north coast of the Akamas peninsula, which is much
quieter in comparison.
Crete
When visiting an online centre for discount holidays or holiday
comparison website, make sure you check out deals to Crete. In the
Mediterranean this destination has one of the earliest springs. For the best of
the sunshine make sure you stick to the south coast as it is generally warmer
than the north, because of its microclimate.
Madeira
When talking about family holidays, we shouldn’t just stick
to beach holidays, as city breaks are also great for families, especially if
you want something to do every day. We would recommend Madeira as you can
explore this wonderful city in pleasant, warm temperatures of around 20C and
enjoy at least 7 hours of sunshine a day in April. Either spend days in the
exciting city or take in breath taking scenery during trails in countryside.
So what are you waiting for? Hit an online centre for discount holidays
or holiday comparison website
to enjoy Easter breaks, where you can get upto 25% off!
